So there's this guy...
After starting out a little scared, (he took a liking to an electrical outlet in one of the first houses we visited and my parental yip of alarm - hey, those things happen all by themselves! - made me think he was never going to want to be near me again!) this little fella finally started to warm up to me. I don't know if it was the chocolate chip cookies or the Moving Day book I brought him that did the trick but suffice it to say I'm not adverse to a little bribery. Pretty soon, Little "O" was my friend. During the many visits we had together - first touring various homes and then the home inspection and final walk-through, I found out that "O" loved the color blue and elephants. I have a connection who was able to bring my vision to life and create this wall art for him. Mama J sent me this photo after they got back to the house and he saw what I had left him and I have to say, this is one of the best photos I have in my memory book. This kid got in on all the home buying action and his patience throughout was deserving of a special gift. This is the beauty of being a Realtor®, not only do I get to help people coordinate one of the most important transactions of their lives, but I also get to meet great people like "O" and his parents and keep them on my friends list forever!
